Started in 1996, the Section Newsletter is now known as Thistledown and is produced on a monthly basis for the benefit of those in the South of Scotland area,  as well as anyone else who might be interested. Its current circulation includes club members and other interested parties in about 8 countries. If you would like a recent issue to get an idea of what's involved then feel free to get in touch and I will send you a copy.

The newsletter is intended as a local supplement to the main club magazine, and usually includes stories, members' small ads, stuff that I've nicked off the internet, and anything else that I feel might be of general interest. The actual Newsletter usually runs to between four and eight pages each month.

I'm always looking for articles, photographs, cartoons and useful and/or interesting information for inclusion, anything really that might be of interest to other readers. So, if you plan on taking a holiday on your bike why not send in a report with a few pictures? Everything and anything will be considered for publication. Please feel free to get in touch should you wish to contribute something or should you want to subscribe (this is free).

Please note: the Newsletter Thistledown is wholly owned and run by me. The views and opinions contained in its pages are not always those of the MZ Riders Club or its Committee.
